| WANPPPOE || If WAN PPPoE is set to No, this button will send a new configuration to the router to disable WAN PPP and return the 4th Ethernet port back to the LAN. This will cause all settings currently in the router to be lost. If WAN PPPoE is set to Yes, this button will do nothing, as the default configuration of the router is for WAN PPP to be enabled. To re-enable WAN PPPoE after it has been disabled, you will need to perform a factory reset of the router, which will wipe all existing configuration.

| BOOTSTRAP || This button sends a TR-069 Boostrap request to the router, which causes the router to request a Bootstrap from the TR-069 server, this will completely reprovision all paramatersparameters in the router, and depending on settings, may wipe all existing configuration.

== Important notes regarding bridge mode ==

To set bridge mode, we have to send the router a new configuration file with the interfaces initialised in the correct state instead of modifying single parameters due to the design of the TR-069 client on the router. Once the router is set to bridge mode, we do not have any communication with the router in this state and as such you cannot send TR-069 parameters down to it after modifying these on the control pages.

This means that the router uses a default configuration instead of what is set on the control pages, this is as follows:

* Username/Password: admin/1234
* WiFi: Disabled
* LAN IP: 192.168.1.1/24
* DHCP Server: Enabled
* DHCP Pool: 192.168.1.2-254

You are free to change these settings on the router, but be advised that when the router has been sent the bridge mode template, we will have no communication with the router after this, and cannot provision any settings towards the router.

To get the router talking to our TR069 server again, you will need to perform a factory reset of the router by pressing and holding the reset button for 10 seconds, and the router will talk to our TR-069 server again. If bridge mode is still set on the control pages, it will go back to bridge and ignore all other settings.

*See: [[Zyxel_Bridge/Modem_Mode]] for step-by-step instructions for enabling and disabling bridge mode via our Control Pages
