A BT HomeHub has a built in VoIP Client that works as a DECT base station. This has been known to work with the AA VoIP Service.
==Homehub 5, disable SIP ALG==
NAT can always be a problem with VoIP. SIP ALGs can get in the way by mangling the SIP packets. If you have problems, try disabling it. (or even enabling it if it is already disabled!)
#Open a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.) and type 192.168.1.254 or businesshub.home in the address bar. You'll see the BT Business Hub home page.
#Click on ‘Advanced Settings’
#Enter your admin password (unless this has been changed, the default admin password can be found on the bottom of the Business Hub 5 or on the plastic pull out on its back).
