If you are looking to move over to TalkTalk then this page should answer most of your questions.
*Option of having Annex M for greater upload speeds.
*More line options - We have manual control of the line profile settings.
*TalkTalk Wholesale uses ADSL2+ (up to 24Mbs/s) where BT 20CN uses ADSL1 (up to 8Mb8Mbit/s)
*The upgrade is free
*On average we saw a 53% speed increase on 20CN lines moving to TalkTalk Wholesale before manual line profile changes which would increase speed further on many lines
*Costs the same
*Manual control of Line Profile (No DLM, but manual selection of the Line Profile)
*Does not use BTs core network - iei.e., good as a second resilient service using separate backhaul

==Why Move from a BE Service to TalkTalk Wholesale?==
Customers may like to move from a BE service to TalkTalk Wholesale, here are some possible reasons:
*Still benefit from manual control of Line Profile
*Does not use BTs core network - iei.e., good as a second resilient service using separate backhaul
*Does not use the Sky network - although we have not been informed that the Sky purchase of BE will affect BE Wholesale services, the long-term future is a little unclear

We hear stories about TalkTalk retail performing rate limiting and filtering on their service, however this is not the case with our TalkTalk Wholesale service. We don't filter ports or web pages with our other services, the TalkTalk Wholesale service is the same. We have multiple links to TalkTalk and as always our aim is not to be the bottleneck. As with our other services, if there is congestion deep within the wholesale networks of our suppliers, then we will pursue that with them to get it resolved.

TalkTalk Retail lines may well have DPI (Deep Packet Inspection), and filtering/logging of URLs etc., but We have been told by TalkTalk (2013-01-22):
"''traffic for our Layer 2 resellers such as yourselves does not go near our DPI systems but is directed straight to your interconnect''"

==I have the 'Premium' Option, what happens on TT?==
Updated 2013-06-26. Customers with Premium on 20CN will have that option removed. This is mainly due to the upload on ADSL2+ being up to 1M anyway. Customers can have Annex M enabled for faster upload speeds when on TalkTalk Wholesale for additional costs. The actual speed will vary depending on the line quality and length, but can be up to 2.5Mb5Mbit/s. Non Annex M will be around 1Mb1Mbit/s (Annex A).

==Will my IP addresses change==
Yes, and no - It is an option, but we have chosen not to chose it. Instead we have manual control over the Line Profile. Customers can change this from the Control pages.

The change only takes a minute, the line will resync. The profile can then be changed again if/when required. More on: [[TalkTalk_Wholesale_Line_ProfilesTalkTalk Wholesale Line Profiles]]

==Will I need to make changes on my router?==
Once a migration order has been submitted it is usually 5 working days until the line will actually be migrated.

It should take around 10-1510–15 minutes. The actual upgrade will involve an Engineer in the Exchange physically moving wires in the exchange. We don't expect it to take more than 30 minutes though, if you're not back online after an hour then please do give us a call.

==Will this affect my PSTN line?==

==Samknows says my Exchange doesn't have TalkTalk, but AAISP says it does==
We have seen occasions where Samknows [http://www.samknows.com/] does not list TalkTalk as being enabled on an exchange, but our line checker says it is available.

In these cases, it is quite possible that Samknows is out of date.
