The Vigor 120 is a modem able to bridge on to Ethernet.

Here are some notes on the device:

IPV6 problems on Firmware 3.2.4.1

  • The release notes for 3.2.4.3 say "Corrected: IPv6 connection fails when the modem is in PPPoA mode". Version before this will result in IPv6 being corrupted.
  • Download firwmare from Draytek

If you're looking for a router/firewall platform, the Vigor 120 works well with pfSense on both 20CN and 21CN BT ADSL lines. pfSense does not yet have IPV6 support though. If you need IPV6 support then you might want to look at MonoWall, a sister project of pfSense. Both projects are built on FreeBSD Unix, but setup and management is done in your web browser.
