The Vigor 130 is an VDSL and ADSL modem. It can be used on an FTTC line when you have your own PPPoE router that doesn't have a built in modem.

Baby Jumbo Frames

The Vigor 130 works with baby jumbo frames and a router that supports RFC 4638 out of the box, this will give you 1500 MTU. This is as of firmware version 3.7.8.1 (released on the 17th of June 2015).

Firmware Upgrading

If you need to upgrade firmware, you can download updates from http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads. The zip file (in my case named v130_3781_UK.zip) contains a readme with a changelog and two binaries. If you wish to keep your configuration load the ".all" file, and if you wish to factory reset load the ".rst" file. As it should work out in factory default config, it is worth resetting the modem anyway if you're upgrading the firmware.
