For 1Gbit/s bearers, the linkconnection from the Openreach to the customer equipment is presented using singlemultimode mode fibre on SCLC connectors,. andA yousuitable willSFP needfor the customer equipment would be a fibre550m portMMF 850nm SX SFP and fibrea patchlength leadof tomultimode connectcable towith theLC serviceconnectors at each end. Weyour canrouter/switch supplywould also need a mediaSFP converterport. ifWe youcan requiresupply whicha willsuitable convertSFP toand RJ45cable copperif Ethernetyou require.
 
In most cases, it is possible to replace the Openreach supplied SFP with something different, eg a DAC cable, this may light an error LED on the Openreach box though, and so cause confusion in the event of a fault. We'd also require that the Openreach supplied SFP is used in the event of a fault report.
