VoIP - Transferring Calls: Difference between revisions

Transferring calls to internal or external numbers is supported with most phones.
 
See your phone manufacturers' manual for how to do this on your device. Typically, your phone would have a Hold or Transfer button which enables a call to be transferred., and the procedure would be similar to:
# Receive an incoming call
# You decide you want to transfer it
# Put the caller on hold, with the 'Hold' Button. You should then hear dialtone
# Dial the person you want to transfer to, wait for them to answer
# Explain you're about to transfer the caller across
# Press the Transfer button
