==Basic principles==
The interface to CHAOS is via https connection to our management systems. The interface can make use of a simple GET request where specific fields are provided in form style attributes in the URL, or by POST of an XML or JSON object. The response is always an XML or JSON object. XML and JSON can be used interchangeably and carry the same information in the same logical structure. The system is designed to be used from command line tools such as curl or using AJAX from javascript.
