Ethernet IP Settings: Difference between revisions

m

==DSL Fallback==
Customers with an Ethernet circuit can also have one or more DSL circuits, and the IP block(s) can be configured to fall back to DSL in the case of the Ethernet going down.

Usually this can be setup by staff, but this is all managed on the IP settings for addresses attached to a DSL circuit. The routing options allow priorities, and so the first priority can be the IP of the interlink you have on the Ethernet, and the second routing can be the DSL circuits.
