The whitelist feature severely restricts the calls and SMSs) the number andcan call and be called from.
 
For example, you can give the voip phone (or sip2sim) to a child, and they can only call their parents, and only their parents can call them.
*Fill in up to 10 numbers in the 'Also Ring' lists, which ceases to be an also ring list and becomes the whitelist instead.
 
Your local equipment may support a 'dial plan', which can be used to define numbers which may be dialled (and also do more fancy things like adding prefixes, rewriting numbers, etc.)
