Call Logging to Syslog

You can be sent syslog (514/udp) messages for all incoming calls to the number. Intended for desktop notifications.

  • You can set a syslog host to get syslog messages for all incoming calls to the number
  • Works for group rings and so on, even if you are busy or DND, etc.
  • It advises your number, the caller number, and caller name if known
  • It is possible to install a syslog pop-up app on Windows etc. to have incoming calls pop up a window.

Your Firewall and our Source IPs

The syslog messages will come from various IPs within AAISP network.

You should allow the IPs stated on the VoIP Security page as well as the general IPs used for AAISP Servers:
