More details on our website about Roaming SIMs, this page is about a couple of issues related to them


Flash SMSs *02#"

We are aware that with the new roaming sip2sim some phones display flash sms messages just saying "*02#"

Tends to happens after a reboot.

We believe they are something internal do to with switching the profile, they Not usually visible, but it seems some (all?) phones do display them.

Phones this has been reported on:

  • android based 'CUBOT' dual SIM phone
  • Nokia E70
  • Samsung Galaxy S Duos
  • Nexus 5 (this shows *01*02*01# when you switch to EU, and *02# when you switch back).
