Some customers have reported being unable to get 1500 byte MTU. It looks like, in some parts of their network, TalkTalk are proxying the LCP and changing the MTU on the fly. This can be worked around by: |

Home::1 Terabyte is a tariff that was launched early 2016. It uses TalkTalk back-haul and provides a VDSL (FTTC) connection with a monthly usage quota of 1 terabyte.

MTU Issues
Some customers have reported being unable to get 1500 byte MTU. It looks like, in some parts of their network, TalkTalk are proxying the LCP and changing the MTU on the fly. This can be worked around by:
- Setting 1500 on the End user equipment
- On the Control Pages, set TCP Fix
- On the Control Pages, set the MTU to be 1500
The underlying problem is being investigated by TalkTalk engineers. (Feb 2016)
