The voicemail system can play a pre-recorded message and then hang up the call. In this case, no recording will be emailed to you. This can be useful for announcements and where you want to give a message but don't want the caller to be able to leave a message for you.

- As a pre-recorded status announcement
- "We are not aware of any service affecting issues" -you'll then record a new message when you do have an issue.
Accessing This Feature
Access is via the Control Pages as follows:
- Log in to the Control Pages with your xxx@a login
- Click on the Number you want to configure
- Click the 'Incoming Tab'
- Set Voicemail to 'Always'
- Ignore the format option, as a recording will not be sent to you
- Ensure not to set an email address in the Email To box
