The allow list feature severely restricts the calls and SMSs the number can call and be called from.
For example, you can give the voip phone (or sip2sim) to a child, and they can only call their parents, and only their parents can call them.
- Enable this feature by ticking the allow list box - either in the 'Incoming' or 'Outgoing' tabs, as the one allow list applies to both incoming and outgoing calls.
- Fill in up to 10 numbers in the 'Also Ring' lists, which ceases to be an also ring list and becomes the allow list instead.
- Calling free three-digit (emergency) numbers may continue to work despite the allow list [1].
Your local equipment may support a 'dial plan', which can be used to define numbers which may be dialled (and also do more fancy things like adding prefixes, rewriting numbers, etc.)
[1] Tested on 16/01/2023 by calling 111, which worked. Calling 123 did not work.
