Admin and WiFi passwords
We ship the router with a basic configuration which is just enough to get the router to log in to us and fetch its full configuration for your line. There are settings on the control pane which can set the SSID, passwords etc, but until the router has been sent its full configuration it is in an 'unconfigured' state.

Bridge mode
- The DX3301 can be configured as a ADSL or VDSL bridge - our auto-config can do this for you.
- This is where you have your own ethernet PPPoE router and simply want the DX3301 to be a DSL modem for it
Notes:
- Connect your PPPoE router to any one of the four yellow LAN ports
- Connect the Grey DSL port to your DSL splitter and then the telephone line
- Many features are disabled as they are not needed or usable when in Bridge mode. eg WiFi, Phone, USB
- DHCP server is disabled.
- You can access the router UI on 192.168.1.1 using the factory-set admin password as found on the ZyXEL sticker on the rear (Don't use the custom A&A admin password)
- The only LEDs you'll see lit up are: Power, Sync and Ethernet.
