Which numbers support incoming SMS?
SMSs (text messages) can arrive in one of two ways:
- Via BT Text, were you'll receive a phone call and the SMS message will be read out.
- Natively, via our SMS services - where we'll email you the SMS, or we can post it to your own API endpoint.
Our range of geographic numbers that support receiving SMS natively is limited, these are the area codes that should work:
