The tests to run when looking at a slow ADSL line are:

  • CQM Graphs From the previous step...
  • Copper Line Tests will test the phone line for faults, and may report a fault is found.
  • Status Tests will show sync speed as well as if the line is below the Fault Threshold.
  • SNR Reset If you have recently had some sort of fault fixed, then the profile (BT lines) may need to be reset. This can be done via the control pages.
